I can’t enter so I’m posting mine here: Debbie Harry. If we overlook the Nancy Reagan bouffant of the mid-noughties, she has looked amazing her whole life. I don’t care that she’s had work done because she still looks like herself, only better, she’s the best facelift advert I’ve ever seen. Also, she has stayed true to her punk roots and said, done and worn what the hell she likes and fuck what anyone thinks. I heart her.

Mine is Isabelle Huppert. Not only is she cool as fuck and wonderfully French, but she shows that redheads can look fabulous in the brightest of pinks… I have six pink lipsticks now.

      Here she is.

Glenda Jackson! She’s beautiful, intelligent, was an excellent actress who now dares to be a politican.

Sorry I don’t have twitter or instagram (I know I’m an absolute dinosaur and I’m 20!) so here’s my entry.
I absolutely love women who keep it simple, that’s my philosophy for everything. Clemence Poesy is definitely up there. She always looks so dewy and fresh, nothing too complicated which makes me feel I can always have a go myself and just focus on a few things without having to really cover my face (even though the dewy look on oily skin doesn’t really quite work!). Lisa Eldridge did an absolutely fantastic youtube video on her makeup look. Also Mario Cotillard too. I can sense a definite French theme…

My beauty icon is my Nana, Jacqueline, seen here on her wedding day on June 10th 1949. Now 86, she still knows what suits her; clothes and makeup add to her wonderful energy and lust for life (especially her wonderful nail polishes)!

My beauty icon is Wonder Woman, she personifies strength , beauty and pose. And the whole changing on the spot is what beauty is, you can change your look whenever you want but you’re still the same strong person underneath.

  • Denise Johnson

I have many beauties…but, one of my favorites is the ALWAYS ALLURING Sophia Loren…! She is sexy, classy, and without surgeries has continued to be a stunningly lovely woman!! Here is a picture of her in her youth!!
